Posted by Phillipa on May 2, 2008, at 12:59:03

So it's lmg xanax broken and 20mg of valium with 50 luvox. Can't find a seach. I think she was wrong when she said I could do it otherwise why would I feel so horrible and like I'm dying? Will this thread help, Phillipa (haven't read through it)? You posted there about a month ago.

There's no harm in breaking the time released xanax. It just won't be time released any more. It will be regular xanax.

I don't know why you are feeling bad other than maybe just too much inhibitory stuff going on. Valium, xanax, ssri. Too many downers. You might consider just using xanax and drop the valium. Xanax is generally more user friendly in terms of mood. It might be that the combination is just too much.

As long as you are armed with the benzos, you might try (if you haven't already) something excitatory like modafinil. Maybe wellbutrin. You don't have to worry about anxiety start up side effects if they happen because you have the benzos ready to go.

I followed you long enough though to think it is way past due to get away from the whole ssri+benzo mindset. That whole game has gotten you nowhere in years of trying. There are so many other things like Lamictal, Abilify, Zyprexa, Ritalin, Modafinil, Wellbutrin, and others, that could juice up your current meds or replace them.

I feel sad that you feel bad. Hey, I felt like absolute dog-do today myself, so you aren't alone.

Blueberry so sorry you're feeling badly yourself. Do you know what is wrong? I used to do well on xanax and valium at different stages of my life. I agree too many downers. Have tried lamictal no problem except spitting so bad had to stop at 50mg tried again same thing. Wellbutrin sent me to the hospital appeared manic to pdoc and was on much heavier dose of benzos then and chloral hydrate. Love Phillipa
