3 day of Abilfiy - so far...

Posted by Sheilac on April 25, 2008, at 5:52:05

So far I've been taking 2mg of Abilify for 3 days. I have been hot and sweaty (which makes it hard to sleep). Before when I took it it knocked me out and I slept great. Now I toss and turn and sweat. Plus, I'm super thirsty. It's such a low dose, I don't understand why I am having these effects.

I need to do some reading to see if these are side effects or if they will go away.

Plus I am hungry but when I eat I feel a little sick. And, in spite of being thirsty, I am retaining water.

Hi Sheilac

yeah probly what u notice different is due to the abilify unless ur taking another med. I take 5mg abilify and really didn't notice too much side effects since i was on risperdal previously and that was just sickening. But hang in there, speak about those things w/ ur pdoc. 2mg is a low dose though. give it a few weeks for side effects to die down. its dependent upon ur body chemistry though so maybe it might take longer.

take care
