sorry. I took my antipsychotic candy almost an hour ago, and I'm def. under the influence.
my question is -- what is the halflife. I take 10mg. I know that I could look this up, but I'm too uncoordinated. I'm about to conk out.
last time Itook it (it's a prn) I was still slurring my words the next afternoon.
now the screen is tilted, but better than little visual hallucinations, I spose
((((((((((((((babblers))))))))))))))
I am so fond of you all

it feels like it's never going to stop sometimes, and Li I personally found the weight factor way worse on zyprexa than seroquel. Take care, it can really bomb you out for hours. It didn't sit well with me, I was a zombie. I have absolutely no idea how the hell I went to work on that stuff. Maybe try 5mg. I found it more powerful than seroquel and almost as strong as geodon (zeldox) but for me 5mg of Zyprexa = coma time.

Why take 10mg at once prn, and not 2.5mg every day or 2?
I think the half life for me is slightly over one day. The literature states 1-2 days. But its longer in older people and shorter in young.
Also why zydis? More expensive? The normal version would not kick so strongly and would be spread out more.

I usually take abilify (10mg), but forgot to refill my prescription. I was getting strange visual effects, because I hadn't taken abilify for 3 days. (lazy noodle!) I have the Rx for times when I am dissociating like crazy and/or having intense flashbacks.

Okay, that makes sense. It's been 12 hours and I still feel like I've been shot with a tranquilizer dart.> Also why zydis? More expensive? The normal version would not kick so strongly and would be spread out more.
I guess pdoc wanted the kick. It's probably lots more expensive, but insurance pays for it. (yay). tastes icky though. I kind of like the kick, because it forces me to go to bed. much like when I was seroquelled every night.
thanks for your input. I guess I'll have to ride this one out for the rest of the day. I don't have much planned, or else I'd be screwed! I am dizzy and loopy!

yep, feeling better.
I finally was able to pick up my abilify Rx, so I won't be needing the zyprexa tonight.
I have a lot of fine motor uncoordination all day long. I wonder if it's left over from the zyprexa?
thanks for asking :)

Some even seem to enjoy the anticholinergic delirium of Datura, Brugmansia and Belladonna.I *do* amaze myself on occasion with the bizzaro things my achey neurotransmitters do to me. I just have such a close association of panic & dissociation that it's hard for me to enjoy the latter without the former.
Lately I've gotten in the habit of counting the muscle twitches while I try to fall asleep. it's kind of amusing ;)
