I no longer have a need for my PubMed account, so I'm donating to you guys.

PubMed.com is a fantastic source for finding professional journals and studies about virtually every medical-related topic.

Everone can create a PubMed account for free... I have one myself. But an account didn't make the full articles available for free last time I checked. Am I missing something?

There's a feature you can use to order documents, but you must first establish cooperation with a library that will send you the documents by mail, fax, e-mail, etc. and the cost of the service and range of documents available will vary depending on the library. I haven't taken the time to find a suitable library, although it would be useful.

Click on the "Order documents" link for more information.

Some methods I've sometimes used successfully are:
1. Get the article from the author's home page
2. Find a working password that allows access to the article. There are lists of passwords circulating, but most of them don't work.
3. Do a web search for the title of the article - sometimes a downloadable copy can be found.

Theoretically, one could try e-mailing the author(s) and ask for a copy the article, but so far, I've preferred not to bother them.

I just graduated from college, so its kind of annoying. I used to be able to get all of the scientific papers for free, but now that I'm out of school I can no longer get anything.
