150mg of bupropion SR to my cocktail. How long will it take for the AD effects to kick in? Zoloft had some, um, side effects. hint hint. KK would divorce me if I told her that I no longer found her humpalcious.
I tried the same drug 1 year ago and it made me feel very ill. This go around I'm settled on mood stabilizer/s, so I hope it doesn't get so bad.
The cocktail, let's name it a llurpsie-tini, is
300mg lamictal
100mg zoloft
1mg clonazepam, give or take
10mg abilify and
a dash of zyprexa zydis 10mg when I'm feeling particularly psycho.1) How long until I start to feel better (sexual side-effect-wise)
2) How long until I start to feel better (AD-wise)
3) will I get (hypo) manic? (like last time?)
4) will I have insomnia (like last time?)okay, that's all for now. I'll alert KK to my post in hopes that she has some insight into her humpaliciousness.

Li don't think I can answer all those questions as we are all unique and the meds affect everyone differently. All I can do it wish you good luck and keep the board informed. Love Phillipa

> -LlHi L,
It is supposed to give you energy too.
I don't know how long it takes to kick in from experience (but read it could take shorter than with ssri's).
I would love to hear how you fare.
(I took wb but couldn't stand it (especially bc of a foggy mind and irritability, maybe because of the odd mix of other (activating) meds I use.)
Wish you luck with this,Robert

Sounds positive so far for you Li but I have such high anxiety I couldn't take it. Tried one week that was it. I'm sure you'll do well as you have a great attitude. So optimistic. Phillipa

LL,
Give it a good 10 days if you can hang in there. Then the suicidal thoughts SHOULD go away. If not, my feelings are that you will need pdoc to change that cocktail.

So far the side effects of the med are very tolerable. it's the side effects when the meds wear off that's a problem.
I just have these gruesome thoughts. horrible. and fantasies of going to the hospital where someone will tuck me in white sheets and I won't have to face the world. sigh

Drs at hospital and my regular pdoc say NO. keep zoloft at 100mg and wellbutrin SR 150 in the am.
sigh. I'm trying NOT to get caught up in the dark thoughts this evening.
my hunger is gone. depression? or? wellbutrin?
one side effect I won't bemoan

When you say hunger do you mean all desire for food or overeating? Love Phillipa

1) there is little food in the house. I *could* make some mac and cheese or heat up a frozen entree, I just choose not to.
2) eating smaller portions is more satisfying than usual.
sound good so far?
now I go to McD for soft serve ice cream. quality time with H

The hunger being gone could be the Wellbutrin. That is a fairly well known side effect.
This is the end of the thread.
