My doctor recently diagnosed me with RLS and prescribed Requip along with iron. She had hoped the Requip would help with RLS as well as falling asleep. I don't believe it has helped with either and while I'm willing to stick with it for awhile, I'm not going to waste my money on something that doesn't work.
I'm up to 1.5 mg and my doctor doesn't want to go any higher than that. I've typically required high doses of any medication that I take. If you have found Requip successful (for anything, not just RLS), what dose was successful for you?

Hi Merge e-mail with a guy who has eliminated his depression with .5 of requip but other meds in the mix, add some low dose lithium, some providgil, and vyanase. A lot of the meds are off label in his case but the requip did what no other med could do for him. Had ECT, EMSAM and every other ad there is. Plus was on zyprexa for a while. Doing very well. No reatless though sorry it didn't work for what it is prescribed for. Phillipa ps I wonder why?
