I have found some great articles on sleep in the pre-modern era. I recall reading about bipolar light therapy and wondered if our recent sleep patterns may cause mood disorders? We also hear of light boxes for depression so this really got me thinking. They are quite long but very interesting articles. Please take your time and post what you think.
I am trying to relax in the earlier in the evening and do some light reading followed by relaxation in the dark. I will try anything right now so what the hell.
Sorry, Dr. Bob as I wasn't sure where to post this since I believe it is related to sleep meds.

I remember reading somewhere that long ago, people would go to bed and rise with the sun, and have a period of wakefulness in the middle of the night when they did stuff around the cave for a few hours, then off to bed again.
The world would have been mostly very quiet then too.
This is the end of the thread.
