Jeroen,
I have been on Clozapine for a number of years.
I found that the drowsiness side effect wears off
to some degree after a while.James R

Hi
I assume you're not responding to other atypical
ap's that's why you're on clozapine? What's your diagnosis if you don't mind me asking?I've got skits and I'm on abilify and lex. was on risp n zoloft. Helped w/ psychotic symptoms but not w/ depression. that combo anyway. I think the risp was at fault.

Jeroen according med scape it may be a good one for you sounds like it has few side effects. will you try it? Phillipa
Treatment with sertindole was efficacious and well tolerated, and would therefore appear to be a practicable addition to the range of second-generation (atypical) antipsychotics. However, particular attention should be paid to side effects, which, although not dangerous, may subjectively be very distressing, such as the absence of ejaculation, nasal congestion and increased feeling of thirst due to dry mouth.

Sertindole does carry cardiac (QTc) warnings and does require ECG monitoring by EMEA, similar to the restrictions here about Geodon and its retesting, only Sertindole does still have QTc problems while Geodon is in the noise level.
