I saw my own pdoc today. He lowered my Seroquel from 200 mg to 100 mg. My mood is so low and he is trying to get me almost hypomanic.
I really wanted him to discontinue the Zoloft, but he didn't think that was a good idea.
It was nice to see him after dealing with the BITCH in the hospital. She was like the gestapo!

Hope you're not back in Ontario (?). If you are, I might know which nurse you are reffering to!!

Maxie, I think you would do best for yourself by sticking it out with these medications long enough to see if they'll help. You've been through the wringer, and you've tried a lot of medications -- before you start the Medication Go Round again, which doesn't lead anywhere good, how about giving these a fair trial?
Honestly -- you know I understand, especially about the weight. I hate seeing what you've been going through, and I know you're in great pain. If these meds have a chance to help you -- and I think they do -- it seems a shame not to give them a chance to show their worth.
Good luck, dear.

I'm bipolar type two. I become hypomanic. I know I need an antidepressant, but I don't want Zoloft anymore.

It wasn't my idea to reduce the Seroquel (although I am happy about it). It was the pdoc's idea. I am going to stay another month on the zoloft, and if it doesn't work, then I am going to try Wellbutrin again.

I was dx'd over 10 years ago. I guess we all react to meds differently and that's why I was able to take what I have taken.

Crap. Since yesterday I have started hearing voices again. I guess reducing the Seroquel was not a good move. Must call psychiatrist tomorrow.
