Just curious if anyone found Celexa easier on the stomach than Lexapro.

It's milder than lexapro have taken both celexa for a month so you are going on celexa? Phillipa

For me celexa wiped me out and lexapro gave me too much anxiety have never had stomach problems on any SSRI. Wonder why maybe I don't assimilate them? Phillipa

I wouldn't say you don't assimilate them Phillipa. Many people have some stomach problems with the start up of SSRI'S but it goes away in time. I have very serious Irritable Bowel Syndrome and have constant GI distress on the SSRI'S.

Interesting as I have IBS too diagnosed when a teen. Take magnesium to help regulate. Wonder why the SSRI's don't bother my stomach? Phillipa
