I can't concentrate on anything. Strange thoughts and memories from many years ago intrude to the point where they become more than just a mild annoyance.
What are these thoughts/images called? When I open my eyes they either go away completely or greatly diminish.
I take Parnate, Lamictal, and Mirapex (for periodic limb movement disorder) and Klonopin (sleep).
Thanks

Just a thought. Most doctors would look at what you wrote and think "schizoaffective" (followed by "antipsychotic"), but given my experience with the mental effects of anticholinergic drugs, I have an idea that this might be related to what is going on. I wonder if the symptoms might be eased by a small dose of a cholinergic -- or an anticholinergic. Imbalances in either direction ...
Also, meditation. This WILL be very effective for what you describe.

Just interested to know what was it about fires' message that made you think about schizoaffective symptoms?
Nellie.

The problem has let up quite a bit, but is worst at night in bed. Seems like it may have something to due with sensory deprivation -- no visual input, and very quiet.
Thanks
