Third week on 75 mg bupropion and fie days running have a headache that comes and goes. Two ibuprofen and it's gone. Cardio exercise and it's gone for a while. One day it was throbbing to beat the band, one specifc area. Had me thinking, uh, gee.. I hope this is not an embolism.
I figure if I was going to experience headache as a side effect, it would have been sooner. Anyone else have a similar delayed response to bupe?
If this keeps up, I am def going to see the doc.

When I took Wellbutrin I had a headache for 2 weeks and then it went away. I heard this is a normal side effect.

Wellbutrin worked well when I started (mostly higher spirits and increased cognitive ability) but the first time (300mg) I tried it, after 3 months, headaches and stomach pains (i learned after that eating immediately after taking your pill can help) forced me to give up. Plus it seemed to get less effective with time.
This time around, after a month long break,i've been taking 450mg/day. I felt better immediately, but am experienceing the same symptoms as before. Hope its better this time around.
This is the end of the thread.
