I would like to hear from others about their startup experiences with EMSAM. I'm on day 3 at 6mg and although I feel a bit more energy, I just feel like crying all day long. In searching the archives, it seems that most who experience this sort of added emotionality don't find that it passes with time. Any exceptions? Thanks

I've not heard of the crying is it from anxiety or insomnia or you just don't know? Phillipa

I had this at first with 6mg and and again for a short time when I moved up to 9mg. I didn't feel sad as much as tenderhearted and sensitive.

I don't know, I just feel overly emotional and depressed. I got the same way from Adderall.

Emsam is the best thing I have ever taken for depression. I have no side effects after the first few weeks and those are mild for me. A little insomnia, anxiety and easy tears.
I love my patch!!!!
