I found a small amount to subtly but definately improve my mood, energy and motivation.
I had no bad sides except nibbie, nibble ALL the time.
I'm giving it a break for a while for this reason. No trouble coming off except after a couple of weeks a return of my normal laad lowered my lazy state. Oh, didn't realize it had lowered my libido a tad till I went off.

I thought it was atypical antipsychotic so how does it do all these other things? Thought it was stimulating? Phillipa

The thing researchers seem to focus on is that, unlike most other atypical antipsychotics, it's a D2 partial agonist, rather than a D2 antagonist. So possibly because of that, one can get some dopaminergic benefits, similar to D2 agonists like pramipexole, as well as antipsychotic control... Its efficacy for motivation and such in some people seems to support the idea, as I understand the situation.
For me it just made my head cloudy.
