What is the best med to improve sleep while on lamictal?
Remeron, Seroquel, Propavan?

Don't know the last one but if it's a benzo I'd say that as I don't think it matters. Is the lamital for bipolar or depression. Can also make a difference as seroquel may be better for bipolar. Phillipa

Lamictal is for mixed state... I've just started to titer.
I'm not that excited about benzos because of the risk of tolerance.

i take lamictal for mixed episodes as well. and like you, it gave me pretty bad insomnia. Ambien was a good drug for me as I didnt wake up groggy and always slept, although i was nervous about dependence. Ambien is not a long term drug. I was able to stop taking ambien with my new addition of geodon. My sleep still isnt as good as with ambien, but I function in the morning and its good enough.

you would think the geodon would be more sedating than ambien? nopers =P ambien is like being shot with a tranquilizer gun.. the geodon is very sedating, albiet not quite as bad as seroquel. *yawns* time for sleepy

Wow that is amazing to me as ambien doesn't touch me. Phillipa lunesta with a benzo was okay but the benzo works better. Shows how different we all are.
