Hi all,
Anyone tried generic bupropion made by Sun Pharma? With all the reports of horrible experiences with budeprion, the quality of all bupropion is now suspect. Thanks!

>if you do a thread search for generic Wellbutrin (or bupropion, budeprion), you'll find discussions of people having problems with budeprion. some people say it worked fine for them, others had to go back to brand name. Generic is supposed to be the same but supposedly the oversight consists of the FDA asking the manufacturer if their product is up to spec and then trusting them when they smile and say "of course!" one can file a report of a bad generic with the fda. bupropion (stateside) is supposedly okay, at least I haven't heard of people having to quit taking it.

Hi,Sun pharma is my country's company.Indian pharma companies are some of the best in the world and certainly sun pharma is one of them.I think our generic manufacturers can produce formulations better then the original patented drugs. So do not worry man.

I once had generic mirtazepine manafactured by sun pharma and they were completely ineffective, so much so that I threw them in the bin and went straight back to branded remeron. Im sorry if I offend anyone when i say this but I think most generic medicine is not as good as brand, but hey thats just my opinion ok.
