Right now I am following the starter pack. In a couple of weeks I will go upto 100mg. Then I have an appt. with my pdoc to see if I need to increase anymore.
thanks : )

I wish you all the best as well. Just make sure after you finish the starter packet you make sure your insurance covers it because it's about $600 for a month supply of 200mg!

Will you doc give you more starter packs? I found it to be a good med but wierd side effect salivation and spitting had to stop only made it to 50mg. Hope you can get some more samples as wow never knew it was that expensive. Trileptal is another option. Worked great low dose never increased as I thought $200 was a lot but not compared to lamictal. Phillipa

I am talking in general terms.I have no financial problems as such and I have tried lamotrigine for more then year upto 150 MG with out any benefit. But,many people can not efford costly medicines and they have no option but to live with these terrible illnesses.

Too both of you same here. No insurance coverage for meds like these hence stopped the trileptal. Phillipa ps that's for costly meds
