lamictal and effexor
I take both before bed...and when for whatever reason I miss the doses, I wake up scared and I know right away that it is because of not taking the meds, but it's so quickfrom which do you think it's from? the effexor or the lamictal?

I would suspect effexor. It is well known for causing problems after a missed dose. Lamictals
half life varies quite a bit but is about a day,
so I would not suspect problems after one missed dose. Effexor has a much shorter half life.

I doubt it is venlafaxine too.I have been on venlafaxine for four years now and i have missed my night dose(i take 150 mg twice,once in the morning and once at bed time) several times.But,i never have any such experience even once.

I'm on lamictal and was on effexor. I missed both before and it almost drove me nuts with the side effects. I would say don't miss either, the side effects from both are horrible.

I think it must be varying with individuals.I currently take both these drugs. In the night,i take Venlafaxine 150 MG and lamotrigine 75 MG.Yesterday itself i missed the dose of both the medicines.Today morning i found nothing bad in particular.I was quite normal.Thanks.
