>It could be any of them except for maybe the clobazam, most benzo's usually don't cause nausea but all the others can cause nausea just on their own. Good luck trying to figure that one out. I hope you can sort it out

The nausea is probably due to the two antidepressants, venlafaxine and bupropion, most likely the venlafaxine. Nausea is a common side effect of anything that inhibits serotonin reuptake. The drowsiness is most likely to be caused by the clobazam, gabapentin or venlafaxine, in descending order of likelihood. This should be offset somewhat by the bupropion and modafinil. Drugs can cause different effects when taken in combination than when taken alone though.

I'm just wondering if you've taken most of your medicines as cocktails? I ask because venlafaxine + bupropion = a lot of noradrenaline floating about you synapses, and that is not good for an anxious person, even with a number of sedatives and anxiolytics aboard. Excess noradrenaline can also give rise to nausea and upset stomach. When I was taking reboxetine, a powerful noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor, I felt sick all the time and it gave me so much anxiety not even 4mg clonazepam could calm me down. Your anxiety might improve considerably if you were to ditch bupropion, and thereby your anxiolytic medication might be more effective.
How much of each drug are you taking?

Yes,you are right.most of times i am on 4-5 drugs simultaneously. My dosage is as per following.Venlafaxine 300 MG
Bupropion 300 MG
Clobazam 30 MG
Modafinil 100 MG
Gabapentin 300 MGWell,in addition to anxiety,i have dysthymia or chronic depression also. For that,i am taking bupropion,Venlafaxine combination.at least that is what doctor says.I feel drowzy not because of clobazam or gabapentin. As i said before,I feel like nausea and vomiting and drowziness is due to nausea only.I will try your suggestion and drop bupropion for some time. But,i have strong doubts that all these problems are due to Venlafaxine. But i will first drop bupropion and then see what happens? Thanks for suggestion.

I think you would probably feel less anxious for dropping bupropion, but possibly more drowsy because bupropion is a stimulant. It would be worth trying and would cost nothing, so yes, I think it is a good idea. Good luck.

I had horrible problems with nausea (and headache / dizziness) over the last few months. I was on celexa and klonopin. I switched the celexa out with paxil and the nausea remained. Then I removed the paxil and I was just on klonopin and the nausea was still there. My doctor suggested it could be as simple as acid reflux and told me to go buy some prilosec. So far the nausea is slowly going away, but I have no idea if it is due to the prilosec or going off of SSRI's. Regardless, the doctors never seemed that concerned about long-term nausea which really upset me. I was missing work due to it but their answer was always come back in a month and maybe try removing a drug or taking some prilosec. Good luck figuring it out.

Hi,
Prilosec's generic name is omeprazole and it is proton pump inhibitor.I have been on Rabeprazole which is marginally better then prilosec and belonging to same class for 3 years now on maximum dose possible for long term treatment. In my case it is definitely due to acid reflux but side effect of drugs is making it much worse.I can not take more rabeprazole then currently prescribed.Thanks.
