Abilify Question

Posted by alanjacobs on August 8, 2007, at 22:46:03

I am on 5mg of Abilify. I am supposed to take it before bed but I feel it wakes me up and gives me energy. Do most take it at night or in the morning. I am supposed to take 20mg of prozac in the morning but that seems to make me tired.

What do you think?

I was always told, if a med makes you tired to take it at night and the opposite if it makes you energetic. I used to take my Prozac at night since it did the same thing to me. YOu should work with your biological clock if the meds cause you to be sleepy or awake, don't fight the natural sleep/wake cycle.

I take 6 mgs in morn
I initially switched it from night to morning because of the start-up energy and insomnia I think I experienced from abilify
now I'm not sure it's energizing me
the effexor...now I take the larger dose of that at night because that makes me tired for sure
be well,
