I think Requip might be helping with my sex probs

Posted by PhoenixGirl on July 30, 2007, at 21:25:19

I just tried a small dose of Requip, the dopamine agonist, and found that it was possible for me to have an orgasm on my own without as much difficulty as usual. I have chronic major depression and anxiety, and I take Cymbalta and Klonopin. I've had sexual dysfunction for about 10 years now, and I'm 29 years old. Today I took half a milligram and to my surprise, it seemed to have helped. No immediate side effects. I'll try it more in the future and let you guys know what happens.

Hi Phoenix,

That's wonderful news!

Just a caution: be careful taking Requip on a structural basis. As the dopamine levels increase, so can feelings of anxiety. I got horrific fear from other dopamine enhancers (such as Wellbutrin and anti-parkinson meds).

Hopefully this doesn't occur if you only use Requip incidentally.

Good luck,
Maria

Sorry to interrupt, but I'd like to redirect follow-ups regarding swinging to Psycho-Babble Social. Here's a link:
