Provigil supposed to feel like a stimulant?

I just started Provigil a couple days ago because stimulants cause too much anxiety in me. I'm not sure if this is because I just began provigil, but it feels very similar in apetite loss (not a concern because I'm on lithium)..and also a generally sped up feeling like my last med, Concerta. Why is this? I don't know the chemical makeup of Provigil whatsoever.

I don't either but they say it's not supposed to cause the speediness just keep you from falling asleep. Love Phillipa
