I've been on Parnate 60 mgs for the last three weeks, the med has definitely calmed my anxiety (not like Nardil did, but it's still helping quite a bit.
I've just been reading about people on this board who are are on 100+ mgs daily of Parnate, and I'm wondering if there have been any ill effects.
I see my doc in a couple of weeks and at that point, I'm going to discuss adding Lamictal or Lithium. I guess I'm terrified that the Parnate will suddenly stop working like the Nardil did and then I'll be back to square one.
My questions are:
1) what's the max safe dose of Parnate that anyone here is on?2) what benefit would there be to adding Lamictal or Lithium, except as a "booster" drug to make sure that the Parnate continues to work?
I apologize if I've asked these questions before, but memory is not much strong suit.

This babble post includes the text of a study abstract on this:

I also remember one poster who got a spontaneous hypertensive reaction while taking a big dose of parnate, but that can happen even on smallish doses of it, so who knows.Best,
