I am terrified. I just started using EMSAM and am very hopeful about it, but I just found this article:
http://blogs.wsj.com/health/2007/05/01/bristol-myers-exec-dishes-on-depression-patch/
Are they going to stop manufacturing the EMSAM patch?

I don't think the article actually says they're going to stop manufacturing Emsam, just that the sales have been disappointing.

Sounded like they were pulling it to me if they lowered the price it would be successful now that people have learned how to use it and all the tricks. Love Phillipa

I haven't seen anything about its being pulled-- just that it hasn't sold well so far.
If they make a profit from it-- why pull it? It may not rake in the great profits they hoped for, but it's been a successful drug in terms of effectiveness-- and it does sell.
Maybe they'll pull it-- but there's no reason to assume they would.
