I realize that drug companies make different pill shapes and colors to differentiate their pills from other pills... but sometimes, the shape is totally ridiculous. 100 mg tablets of Lamictal are hard to get to do all the way down. But, I've decided I'm going to start breaking them in half before I take them, and I'll see how that goes. Anyone taken Lamictal? Isn't that the worst shape ever? I'd imagine the regular Effexor would be just as bad (never taken it, but I've seen pictures). Any thoughts on horrible pill shape?

Believe it or not I think the worst are calcium magnesium or some Vita C extended release as they are hughe. Love Phillipa

Lamictal is a horrible shape. It always gets stuck in my throat going down.

Hi PJ,
Most calcium tablets are chewable so they're not so bad - they are huge though.
Keppra tablets 750mg and 1000mg are massive.

My Lamictal 100's are chewable. Although I hate the taste and always swallow them.

Just sounds gross. I think I'll just try to eat something after taking it or something.
