Hi,
Could lamictal have a positive effect on OCD or ADD?
Thanks,
Nellie.

I have slight OCD with numbers and adding and stuff. Took lamictal last summer only got to 50mg as I had an unusual side effect excess salivation. I noticed nothing positive or negative reguarding the OCD. I was taking it to boost ad effects. I liked the med no side effects of anxiety or insomnia. Was it prescribed for OCD or ADD? Love Phillipa

Hi Phillipa,Thanks for your reply.
I wasn't prescribed lamictal but thought it might be worth a try as a possible substitute for low-dose antipsychotics for problems including ocd.Best wishes,
Nellie.
