I went to the pdoc today, and he put my Lexapro dose back at 10mg, and he wants me to take 150mg of Lamictal for two weeks, then up to 200mg. I'll probably do it 100mg in the morning, 50mg at night, then 100mg morning and evening. I told him that I've had to take xanax most everyday, although I don't take more than .5 mg a day. He is having me try ativan, because it's longer acting. He first asked about klonopin, but I told him that just made me depressed. However, I wonder if klonopin would be okay now that I'm on Lamictal? I'll give ativan a try anyway. Hopefully with upping the Lexapro and Lamictal I'll get to where I don't need to take much of a benzo. I suppose only time will tell. So by the 17th, I should be on my maximum dose of Lamictal. I'm very interested to see how this turns out, because it seems to be okay so far. My only complaint is that I often feel tired, but I've noticed in the past week I haven't been as tired. Perhaps it was just adjusting, or perhaps it was upping the dose. Anyway, that's the news. If anyone has any thoughts about my reaction to klonopin while on an SSRI and the possible reaction now that I'm on lamictal, I'd love to speculate with you. I still have some klonopin, mostly just in case I ever ran out of xanax (a depressing benzo is better than no benzo at all when you need one!).
I'll post more when more happens. :)

Same experience with klonopin it depressed me to the point of feeling suicidal once. I think the lamictal should work well for you. Love Phillipa
