Hello,
I just started taking generic Ativan and am wondering if I should try brand-name Ativan instead. Any thoughts on efficacy of brand vs. generic here?
Thank you!!!

there is no real diffrence between the real one and the generic. Little tiny white pills V.s the "A" on the Ativan pill. There really no comparison but if you want to chose the actaul Ativan try it. I never took the Brand name Ativan, only Lorazepam. Was on it 1 year, and thats a while, so if you have any questions, ask me.

I personally prefer brand, if I can afford it.
However, I've only taken generic Ativan, and it worked just fine.
That said, when you buy the generic there are usually multiple manufacturers, so quality may vary.
You're always "safe" with brand, but probably just fine with the generic in this case, IMHO.
Good luck...Peace...Saturn.

Don't know if it was the generic or not but it did nothing for me. I have no idea at this point. Love Phillipa

Thanks for your input, folks. I'll be sticking with the generic Attivan.
