Clonidine with remeron would seem strange. Isn't one an alpha-2 adrenoreceptor antagonist and the other agonist?

I don't know if one would completely cancel out the other one. Infact it might be a good combination. Without the NE action, you'd get a med more like ritanserin, ie just 5-ht receptor blockade.
