Does anyone know if taking Concerta with food reduces its effects? Do antacids interact with Concerta?

The drug monograph says there are no food-related effects, and there's no mention of any interaction with antacids.

As for ritalin, I did find that taking it on an empty stomache increased it's potency dramatically- not sure if this is true for Concerta too, or not. About the ritalin, I read something that said, "if taking for ADD- go ahead, take with food". "If taking for wakefulness, take on an empty stomache". However, I found both effects were much greater on the empty stomache. And again, no idea is this translates to Concerta.
This is the end of the thread.
