I missed my Lamictal dose last night- woke up ancy ..so I took it half my dose (50mg) and felt restless and sleepy at the same time..very frustrating..Anyone else experience this. Does taking Lamictal make people sleepy if taken in the daytime? thanks!

Don't know as I took mine at night . I guess the valium masked any antsiness. Love Phillipa

I've been on Lamictal for 5 years. I take 200mg. I find for me that it does not sedate me if I take it in the morning. However, if you have just started it, it may cause sedation.Polarbear
