Well, I'm just back home from the hospital after in-patient treatment following a manic episode. Apparently my body didn't take well to my last cocktail of medications as prescribed by my pdoc.
Anyway, I'm trying not to dwell on this setback and I'm really trying to stay positive. My new regime is Lithium (900 - until levels are checked Friday), and a starting dose of 15mg of Remeron.
I've been on Lithium for the past six months or so but the Remeron is completely new to me. I'm just posting in hopes some people (Bipolar-I or otherwise) who've taken this combo and have had good success could maybe share their experiences. I've definitely tried a good number of different meds since being diagnosed 3-years ago and it's my belief you really have to try each of these meds out until you find what works for you. With that, though, I wouldn't mind trying to keep my mind hopeful as I start this Remeron + Lithium combo.
So if anyone has had (preferably positive) experiences with this combo please share if you have a sec. Hopefully reading a few success stories might at least give me a bit of a placebo boost to get back on the ball.

I tried this combination without my doctors supervision once. I had no problems with it, and actually intended to put it on the "try again list".
