Any experiance with Elavil

Hi Group,
Has anyone had any recent experiance, news with Elavil. I was prescibed it for IBS by and internist that did a colonoscopy for me. I see that it is also used as an antidpressant/anti anxiety sleep med. I am also on Lexapro and Remeron. The doc and pharm. said they should be ok used together??? Any help??

Guess I answered my own question..something told me to recheck with a pharmasist....this time they looked it up on some computer program and they said not to take with Lexapro as it would counteract something something and would need extreme followup...oh well.......

Yes, there's a strong potential for serotonin syndrome in taking three serotonergic meds:
