Hey all
I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on blood tests for Neurotransmitter levels.
I know Blueberry's had these done
Does anyone else have any experience?

I was curious about these, asked, and was told that sure, they can test for levels of neurotransmitters in the blood, but that the results give little clinacally useful information. Ie, if a person is low on say, seratonin- it's hard if not impossible to translate that into specific information about what's going on in the brain or exactly which antidepressant would be useful.

Yes that blood only gives levels in the gut not the brain I think. Love Phillipa wish there was a test.

neurotransmitter levels in the brain change constantly so testing would need to be done over a period of time... peaks and valleys and all that good stuff LOL
but I agree, it woud really be nice if it could be done with some reliablity
namaste,
