10 mg zyprexa

Posted by Sebastian on November 1, 2006, at 11:59:36

What about the smoking? Yes still working. Going out
not that much. mainly doing a lot of drinking and
smoking. The other day I woke up late for work and
got sent home. Partly my fault, I stayed up late the
night before. Not that late though, 12am. I'm
supposed to work at 8:30. Taking the zyprexa I have a
hard time waking up without a full or more than 8
hours sleep. Saturdays I often sleep till 3pm in the
afternoon when I went to sleep before 11pm the night
before. I don't know wether to blame the zyprexa 10
mg or the drinking and smoking or both. Even when I
was not drinking or smoking I had a very hard time
waking for school. The only problem is I need the
zyprexa. I crack up when I don't take the 10 mg dose.
What do I do?

Ivan

Can you not stop drinking. And take Zyprexa every other day instead of every day to try and reduce the drowsiness.

Or what about taking Zyprexa 7pm in the evening so you wake up earlier the next day?

Zyprexa does make me sleep like a log but for some reason the next few days I always feel much more alert. I just take Zyprexa now and again.

I made the decision to cut back on zyprexa, 5 mg. Been doing it for 2 days and I feel great. Yes I told my doctor. We'll see how long this lasts before my mind starts craking up. Don't want to stop drinking and smoking, thats all I do anymore.

I'm messing up all over. Need to quit drinking, but I enjoy it so much.

I went back to 10 mg zyprexa.

Well I'm glad you went back up on the zyprexa as you've always said it worked great for you. And the alchohol has to go. Love Phillipa

Well I cut down on the drink last night, I only had one. Now I am thinkig its a good idea to take a short break from the meds once in a while. Cut the dose in half or skip one. It sort of recharges me. You are right though the drink makes it hard to wake up, especialy if I drink more than 3 the night before.

Good job cutting down on the drink but keep the zyprexa the same. Love Phillipa
