Hi...please tell me if this is normal. My depression and OCD/anxiety recently began creeping back, so my p-doc switched me from 20 mg. Prozac over to 50 mg. Zoloft. I pretty much made the switch directly. For the past week or so, I have been so OUT OF IT, as well as highly emotional, anxious, and unable to concentrate or make decisions. I'm also a little dizzy from time to time, and I can't remember anything. It feels like a lack of serotonin to me... is it just because the Zoloft takes a while to get into my system? Can one not switch directly from one SSRI to another? Please tell me if you have had similar experiences--I'm kind of freaking out and hating my life right now. Help! :(

My pdocs have always switched me right over. I heard zoloft could cause the coffee ground effect meaning anxiety but it didn't to me. It seems to work very well. I know a lot of people on in including my daughter. Good luck Love Phillipa
