I'm not doing well on low doses. I do have to take two doses a day, spaced apart the length of daytime.
Besides Eff-XR, am only on Valium 3x a day.
What does anyone think of this .. 'addiction of sort'?
Could/should I add something in here?
It is depressing me @ low doses.

So he put you back on it? Then ask him if he wants you to split it or what. Maybe higher dose? I took this med briefly and at the time of perimenopause it was very activating. And you say it's making you tired? Love Phillipa

Already done Phillipa. He did and does.
>Maybe higher dose?
Dunno; he'll respect my choice when see him next or may call him.
>u say it's making you tired?

There was top doc in town on some morn' news show saying "Flu shots absolutely do not cause the flu!" recently. So, I kept telling myself this must be the Eff-XR. But I didn't really agree w/ that doc as I've had a bit of fluish'ness after shots b4. Anyway, I was confused; really really tired. Maybe I'll be able to tell what's going on now this week. Think see P pretty soon.

Well, it is true that flu shots don't cause the flu, but it can make you tired as your body creates the antibodies.
Are you getting off of Effexor, or are you just needing a dose change? I did not have a good time with Effexor at all, so I'm mostly good for telling people how to get off of it.

I do know that getting through holidays and some other concurrent stressors is too difficult to do w/o some help, I believe, in looking at now and days ahead.
I've saved quite a big of info re: discontinuing Eff-XR. Although I'm blessed to have never had much prob' discontinuing.
Really never had a lot of the bad side effects you see peeps have, either.
This time, fatigue and 'Don't Give A S*it' syndrome. But, I hear a tiny voice telling me that maybe the dosage of my Valium may have something to do with this. One time, I had a sorta 'psychotic high-strung feeling' that scared me.
Otherwise, it's been the most helpful w/ sadness and w/ anxiety. So, may give it another month.
thankyou, cf
