Just took my first 25mg pill of Lamictal, i will post any improvement or adverse effects. This is the second mood stabilizer i try.

Good luck. Lamictal has been great for me at just a 50 mg dose. I noticed effects right away. Just go up slowly and be patient with this drug.

Give it a good long time, as in several months. My doctor just told me they have developed some blood tests for lamictal to more accuratly figure out blood levels. I'm not sure what it tells them. I've been on 200mg forever. I have a friend who does 450. I haven't gotten the results of my test back yet.
