My son has a brain stem injury. We recently started him on piracetam and choline. Does anyone have any input on these drugs?

I actually bought some recently, for some people it has no effect, but for others the effect can be profound. It really depends on the person.

I hope it's not like in "The Butterfly and the Belljar" (Jean-Dominique Bauby).

moves all extremities but unable to move on command.has no head or trunk control. can't talk. can blink on command at times. his focus is getting better. I can tell he is actually looking and doesn't have the blank stare as much.

I've found one reference that states that aniracetam
is probably superior to pericetam.

Sounds horribly similar. (It's a good book.)
All I know is that piracetam has been used in cases of brain injury.
You could search the data base at http://www.lef.org.
I wonder about Hydergine?
