Scott,
The site looks really good-have you used it and are you satisfied with it (probably a stupid question, but I wanted reassurance before I put my money down...)

I use it mainly as a reference to the American Description of disorders. They seem to reflect the DSM, which is something I haven't been able to find anywhere else on the Net. The drug monographs are also helpful, but I now use http:/www.rxlist.com most of the time.

If you jump around a bit, you find interesting stuff.

No. I wasn't prepared to pay a fee. I haven't heard anything in the way of feedback from anyone using the service. They market it well. It sounds impressive. Did you see their list of diagnoses?

Yeah...I guess I'd be paying $39 to find out that I have panic disorder; and maybe other stuff that would scare me but not help. I'm probably crazy in other ways, but those other afflictions don't torture me like PD, so screw 'em. :>}

Plus its never so straightforward that you say, have depression, or bipolar, or anxiety -- they are always various components in there. Its never so black and white. And, for instance, at what point is the line drawn between, say, having quirks and having OCD? Its all so indivdial.

So true. My diagnosis would be "off the wall nuts" (people find me very humorous in a really "weird" way) with panic disorder. I wouldn't want anyone to treat my weirdness...that's a different but fun side of me. But it is "different" and so someone must have a diagnosis of it, like, "idiopathic buffoonary syndrome". Would that be axis I or II? :>}

I don't know, but my dx is "Irregular Polygon Syndrome, with Feral Features." I think that's Axis I AND Axis II...
