Today i seen my doc on a cancealtion visit.I literaly DRAGGED myself,i had no sleep prior 24 hrs in,i was a mess,but i had mad a decision i was gonna be there if i had to show up in my underwear.
So i did what i had to,showered and was ready to go,with no sleep i was angrier than a pit bull,which i liked due to where i was going.
I seen her and she starts right away telling me i had the klonopin needed,i TOLD her no she NEGLECTED in her rushing me to add that to her refill stock for me.
I was right as i dont abuse klono.
Then she said well whats wrong,with all of my brooklyn soul,and loathing of this office i stared at her and said,I WANT TO TRY THIS DRUG,i handed her the lyrcia insert.
She stared at me,i dident say a word back,or stutter as to why like i normaly do,A huff and ok comes out.
So i pulled teeth today and i left with my prescription,now i know theres a good chance i wont be as lucky with it as some,but i prsented a rock solid case as to why it was worth trying,she did not present anything in return,so regardless of how i do on it,i won a battle in my eyes,these docs,some of course,wanna treat you like a number in and out the door,and im NOT and maybe all these years of working on CHANGING from a P-K (read ghb google groups) to a nice guy was wrong,maybe you simply need to stand up for yourself,grow some,and today i had em .
I just truly hope the few on it here will not mind helping me with using it as she is obviosuly clueless,well its been a long two days of horrable diet,smoking,no sleep,anger etc,ill be back of course,but i wanted to in a nutshell which i failed was to tell everyone who cared I GOT IT,I ACTUALY GOT A DRUG I FELT WAS WORTH TRYING,AND I AM PROUD ASIDE FROM HOW IT WORKS PERIOD.

This is a victory of sorts.
It represents a change in your relationship with your doctor. Perhaps it will now be more of a collaboration whereby your hard work researching your illness will help in finding a successful treatment. Well, one can hope, anyway.
I'm proud of you for:
Battling your illness when it was at its worst, and succeeding in making your appointment to see your doctor.
Presenting the information you collected about the treatment of your illness and advocating for yourself.
I hope Lyrica works for you.

> - ScottSine i was already on Nuerontion,i requested the dose that mr crazy horse recomended most likly to avoid the stupour and create more of a energetic feeling,i believe he said this was of 600 mg.
So i ,with insert in hand,requested 300 mg twice daily.Of course i have half that,im not surprised.
She was clueless on it,made a phone call to my pharmacy and he basicaly choose the dosing for me.
I already have a noticable effect from it,i will post a seperate post when i have more time to sit and type properly,now i have morning errands.
But im just curious how its combination with parnate will work out,i dont believe many people used this combo,rather more with ssris,crazy horse if im correct used marplan but being on that myself have to say there is still a difference,as you know scott parnate is a drug very much in its own world,now i have the task of seeing if
A Lyrcia even helpsB If it works well with parnate,if so which one to use as a primary,in this should doses be scaled
c Should they be taken at the same time,or spread apart.
I have no problem getting off parnate comptly,it will be hard as i have a mind set when i feel ok a small parnate dose will set me perfect,i see this task i have to overcome.
I know the above i should be consulting with my docter on,but,and i know many will think im wrong for saying this,but i truly feel from my heart that she has no clue.
I will work with people that can help i feel,like my parents,who i asked to remind me to take it slow,and just ride it out time is what i have.
Last your right about one thing,i was in what could be said my worst day and i dragged myself to that appt.I knew if i dident id regret it dearly.
Sorry for typos,im in a extreme rush this morning,but i wanted to touch ground here,and thank the circle of lyrcia users recently for even presenting me with a new option,scott i also from you have options but i will not even think of them now and lay them far far back on the burner,but feel better knowing i have something cooking.I will leave a more specific post on my exact reaction to my first dose as it was significant soon.

Will I think CH added the lyrica with zoloft. I could be mistaken? Love Phillipa
