I may have to stop Wellbutrin XL. Has anyone here experience withdrawal symptoms when discontinuing it? I currently take 450mg.
Thanks!

Racer,
I did experience a few withdrawl symptoms, but they obviously weren't that bad because I don't remember them. I wasn't taking very much, and I hadn't been on it for very long... a month maybe?

> Thanks!I stopped Wellbutrin after a couple of years use and had no apparent withdrawal symptoms. Quite a smooth transition actually. Comorbid hypothyroid (undiagnosed) might have masked symptoms though. I don't remember the dose.

The responses from other posters here sound encouraging Racer. But hey, you know how mileage varies. If you run into problems you could consider getting the immediate release stuff so you can taper at whatever rate you want to.
Who knows, if you are anything like me you might actually start to feel better as the dose comes down.
