About four days into my first week (on 30mg now) I'm experiencing muscular weakness, dizziness, postural hypotension, intermittent lethargy, and headaches. If these don't go away soon, I'm going to have a lot of trouble performing well at the sports I play (track and field, rugby), whose practices begin in a little over a week.
I know getting in more salt will help the hypotension, especially right before exercising. I add a little extra salt to my Gatorade, which already has plenty of sodium. But the weakness, headaches, and dizziness are big detriments.
Thank you !

Um, they never went away for me. I took between 80-100 mg. If I knew I was going hiking I would stop the med 2 days before and restart the next day. I mainly had dizziness and headaches. But I have heard of the other side effects you mention.
Another thing you might have noticed, is that Parnate makes you HOT. So when doing sports be careful that you don't overheat. Drink LOTS of water.
I hope the side effects go away ... but they never did for me. But since the med was working and was my last med to try .. I put up with the side effects.
