My first time on Zoloft was one wicked roller-coaster. For a week, it was amazing. The next week? Panic, anxiety, yikes! Was just seeing my Doc at the time, not a PDoc, and his advice was to get lots of exercise, remember to breathe when I got panicky, and see my T twice a week if I needed it.

And for me, he was right. Another week or two and I was back up. Then down. Then up. I can remember that first crash, tho, feeling like I was about to die. And my Doc tells me to get more exercise. I didn't, but it probably would have helped if only to work off all that nervous energy.

Fast forward 2.5 years, most under care of a PDoc, and I finally convince him that I don't have a problem with seratonin. But it takes time with SSRIs to get up to their "therapeutic level", and it takes time to come off of some of them as well.
