If this is the most potent and selective medication, why are more people not on 5 and 15, but mostly 10 and 20?
Same as celexa, 20 and 40.
Is there something against odd numbers?

I pretty much hate pill cutting. But, to wean down to 10mgs, I will have to do that again.

Weaning down? That's a good thing. But was this your first AD? If is was I might not go off it completly as the first Ad I took was l0mg of paxil and it worked. I weaned off it and no ad has worked since. Love Phillipa ps I can't recall if you've been on others

I have had done trials on - I'm counting - 5 AD's, golly it really was 5, Wow.
It's in the talking stage of weaning. I've been at this dose for almost a year. I do not at all plan to go completely off, just thinking about finding the lowest effective dose. However, I admit the prospect is scary as rocking a good boat is scary.
I'll see and have more talks with the 'ole pdoc.

Thank you. You words were kind and I needed that !!!
For the immediate future, I think I will continue on 20 mgs. I have a gut feeling I should do that and sometimes my gut feelings are quite right.

Glydin when I look at the fact that paxil l0mg worked and then when I was better and weaned off it it or no others have ever worked I've glad you've made that decision. As my pdoc says If it ain't broken don't fix it. Love Phillipa
