Lexapro and edema of extremeties?

Posted by jonquiljo on August 15, 2006, at 0:13:15

Has anyone has swelling of hands, feet, knees after long term use of Lexapro? I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't a problem. TIA

How much edema (weight wise)? Is it pitting edema? If the answer is yes ... you have a problem. It shouldn't occur after long use though. It should appear after starting the med ... I think.

Have you asked you doctor?

Is it listed as a side effect? Goggle the manufacturer's data. Love Phillipa
