Okay so I've been on depakote for three weeks. It's been ridiculous. I sleep like 16-20 hours a day and my apetitte is horrendous. I was a vegetarian before this, now I want chicken finges like there's no tomorrow. Will these side effects go away? I'd rather be crazy but awake and not stuffing my face.

Thanks guys, I see my pdoc on wed and I'm going to tell him I want off the depakote!! Who knows what will be next though. fun fun fun.

Was it prescribed for bipolar disorder. Have you tried lamictal, it might be better.
