Does anyone know if ambien cr affects blood pressure?
I saw something that suggested that it could lead to much higher blood pressure, but that just didn't make any sense.

Thanks Philllipa,Strange right? But I was looking up the drug info on it, and one of the "possible side effects" listed was "higher blood pressure", but no mention of "lower blood pressure" anywhere. So far I looked at several sources, including the pharmacy insert and on medlline, and they all seem to agree. It doesn't make sense.

I googled, but you know how that can be-sales, sales, sales-or obtuse medical abstracts-some worse than others. But good suggestion, I'll go look at what they say at CrazyMeds,

To get rid of most of the ads, Google ambien -buy -online. Make sure the minus sign is right before the "buy" and "online" with no spaces...hope that helps for the future.

Just in case anyone has been dying to know "the answer"- I asked my doctor and phramacist, and they both were vague, saying, "No, shouldn't affect blood ppressure. Warning? Oh- well, medications affect people in many different ways." etc. I did my own brief, less than scientific experiment using blood pressure reader, and deduced that it seems to go down. But ambien's not the thing for me, anyway, so I won't be using it anymore.
