Hey Merry
I read that story to
Things like that you'st to make me feel angry, now I just feel apathetic!I really sympathised with the writer because I am in a similar position.
I strongly suspect that my problems have a biological basis, yet I'm continually told I need CBT therapy!
Like its some kind of cure all!P.S.-Sorry to have been out of touch for a while, I've just been feeling absolutely terrible!

In some ways it's better but in some ways it's worse. It mainly depends on whether you've got the money I guess.

Hey Ed,
Good point, well put! But then we pay alot of tax here, compared to the US. So its swings and roundabouts.....
But IMO the NHS is generally a good thing. Except maybe for mental health. Even then, its better than nothing, and at least its free.
Kind regards
Meri

I don't mean to sound antagonistic
However I do work for the NHS in one of the "best" hospitals in the country.
I often think a "free" services is meaningless if the service is no good!
Its great that we have free healthcare in the UK, it would be even better if it worked!
I know I'm being a bit unfair-the NHS is good for some things

Yeah, you're right too Tom. Although, in context, its not THAT bad. I mean, we could be living in some developing country where the local healthcare is a witch doctor or something..... I mean we have life expectancy rates comparable to any other developed country....but yeah. It could be better. For sure. But then like so many other things in life, its okay if you're rich, but if you're porr...at least the NHS is for everyone, rich and poor.
Take care!
Kind regards
Meri
