Well, after going through a grueling 2 wk Parnate washout period, I'll be starting EMSAM on June 14th.
Sure hope it works well for me, but if it doesn't, then i'll
move on to.....hell, i'm not really sure. These meds are always a gamble, oh how nice it would be to not need them!
There's got to be something better than this miserable exsistence, but i gather you can figure that too.Well, bring it on EMSAM, GIVE ME YOUR BEST!!

Please keep us up to date on how this works for you. I am on Parnate and want to try the patch, but I am not in a place right now where I can wash out and become my old comatose, drooling self, even for a short time.
I'm really wanting to know how it works for someone else who has been on Parnate. I may end up with no option but to try it. The Parnate works ok, but I am not really living life. I'm too young (39) to quit looking for the best answer now.

> KimI most certainly will Kim! Parnate worked great for me, but the side-effects were getting progressively worse for me( insomnia and daytime fatigue). I'm hopeing EMSAM at low dose will give me the benefits i need w/out mega side effects. I will keep you posted and i wish you all the best.
